FREE YOUR NATURAL VOICE

Tune In offers fun, relaxed sessions exploring natural ways to breathe, move and SING!

Sessions include relaxation, breath and body awareness, vocal exercises and singing songs from a variety of styles - such as heart-opening harmony songs, world music, folk songs and classic tunes we all know and love (when singing online we turn mics off)

It’s been shown that singing can improve a range of health conditions from asthma to anxiety, as well as enrich the lives of those who simply want to sing to feel GOOD! Soothe your soul, lift your spirits and connect with others, and to yourself, through song.

Open to all (18+) as a welcoming space to express yourself through song, make beautiful connections and celebrate your natural voice.

WHY TUNE IN?

⭐️ Feel the amazing physical, emotional, mental and social benefits of singing ⭐️

There are so many amazing benefits from improving breathing and posture, boosting immunity, reducing muscle tension to easing symptoms of anxiety, depression and a variety of different health and wellbeing conditions. Singing is a wonderfully therapeutic tool - a tonic that can really help with boosting mood and regulating the nervous system.

I truly believe singing is and should be your own intuitive process and personal exploration. Opening and connecting with your voice can foster a beautiful relationship with yourself.

Just some of the benefits include:

💛 Connecting to and enjoying the sound of your natural voice

💛 Improving your tone, hearing and overall sound

💛 Moving stuck energy in the body

💛 Improving mood, mental health and self-esteem

💛 Helping to better manage your breath and breathing patterns

💛 More ease, range and power in the voice

💛 Building physical and vocal stamina

💛 Emotional release and re-connection to the breath, body and voice

MY STORY

SINGER / SONGWRITER / NATURAL VOICE NURTURER

D7C3AE19-7B90-48C0-8964-E2DB1A3AACFB.jpeg

I have always been passionate about the arts, music and people.

I particularly love how the arts can bring us together, and provide such wonderful benefits to people’s health and wellbeing - the reason I created Tune In.

My training began at drama school, where I studied a degree in World Performance. This immersed me in a colourful, expressive environment involving music, dance and global theatre forms. Much of what I have learned over the years is integrated in my sessions - exploring natural expression, imagery, energy, playfulness and connection - helping to bring the voice back into the body where it belongs.

I went on to study a Diploma in Music at the London Music School, before training as a Singing for Health Practitioner with The Voice College. I’m also a Singing for Lung Health leader trained by The Musical Breath, and enjoy weaving elements of this into my practice to help people better manage their breath.

I believe everyone has a voice, and can benefit from singing in many different ways. Sessions are warm and playful, creating a sense of ease and enabling participants to drop into a space that is both held and free.

I aim to bring joy and comfort into the lives of those I work with, bringing the therapeutic, healing power of music into people’s hearts and homes. I invite you to meet yourself with curiosity, joy and a sense of continuous discovery.

All voices welcome.

Let’s tune in.

TESTIMONIALS

I’ve felt a change in me since having sessions with Mary. She gives me the confidence to embrace my natural singing voice. She is unique, patient and encouraging. My fear of singing means I get emotional because it makes me feel vulnerable, however now I feel like I’m releasing my fears and healing

Iona

Tuning in with Mary is such a positive and heart-warming experience. She makes me feel very relaxed, guiding us beautifully through warm ups, as well as mindfulness and grounding exercises. I really enjoy singing with her (while keeping my mic off!!) and she provides a real sense of positivity and a well-received break from daily life

Greta

Sessions are well-structured, with the balance of relaxation, warm ups and singing working perfectly. I like that Mary often encourages you to move and let go of any inhibitions or judgements. There is a great choice of songs and I always leave feeling more energised and chilled out than when I started

Peter

It was lovely to sing with everyone - the Pavilion felt like an oasis of calm happiness in the middle of my hectic day

Maria

Sessions with Mary are so relaxing, energising and easy to follow! I definitely feel all the benefits and she creates a very chilled, non-judgemental atmosphere - it’s so much fun!

Ploy

Definitely recommend Tune In sessions, which involve body awareness and letting go of tension, gentle vocal warm-ups and singing. She teaches lovely songs - and no music reading required!
